well, its a new school year. Camp has been and gone and we haven’t been very active on our room 10 blog. Time to get into it!

Well, into term 3! It has been great so far. You guys are working really hard in maths and our inquiry work has been very interetsing.
I would like you to have a look at the refugee camps in Kenya when you get a chance. Look on u-tube for these. They are sad to watch but as we know from Yussef, that is what they are really like.

We have arrived at week 10 already! It has been a really busy last few weeks. This week you will take your portfolios home to share your work and school life with the people at home. Please take some pride in this and make sure you spend a good amount of time discussing your work. I would like to see some comments posted telling the class how your portfolio sharing went. Post in response to this one. Looking forward to the soccer tournament next week.

On Friday last week we had a great time learning about adaptation at the zoo. We also took the opportunity to explore the zoo and listen to several presentations from the keepers. We hand feed the giraffes and saw Tahi the kiwi. What was your favourite part of the trip?
